O'Gorman defeats Huron soccer

HURON – The Huron Tigers soccer teams held their final home games of the season Tuesday at Tiger Field against the O’Gorman Knights.

The varsity boys fell to the Knights by the score of 2-0. O’Gorman scored both goals in the first 20 minutes and that was the scoring for the entire game.

“Very proud of our boys tonight,” Huron coach Leah Branaugh stated. “O’Gorman only has one loss on the season, so we knew that they would be tough, and our boys responded in the best way!”

Eh Ja Beh Win made 10 saves in goal for Huron.

Branaugh recognized the seniors’ contributions on senior night.

“Our seniors tonight really stepped up and led the way,” she said.

Huron falls to 3-6-1 with a match against Watertown on the schedule for Friday.

The boys’ junior varsity tied with the Knights 2-2.

Mathew Thin and Yo Yo each had a goal, with Mister Min contributing an assist. Klo Hser and Yo Yo each had five saves, while Jaxon Andry had two saves in goal.

Girls soccer
O’Gorman controlled the pace in the girls’ game, winning 8-0. Hkee Hser had 10 saves in goal, while Baw Eh made five saves.

The girls’ JV lost 10-0.
