MILLER — Oliver Block, seven-month-old, of Miller, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. with his parents at his side.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 3, at the First Presbyterian Church in Miller. Burial will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery at Miller. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with a 7 p.m. prayer service all at the church.
Oliver Michael Block was born June 12, 2017, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown to Jesse and Shawn (Waters) Block.
He loved his right thumb, foxy, morning snuggles and tickle time with dad, evening snuggles and story time with mom. He loved bath time and was experimenting with new foods to chew with his two bottom teeth.
He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Shawn Block of Miller; grandparents, Michael and Beverly Block of Greenville, Mike Waters and Karie (Brian) Waters both of Wessington Springs; great-grandparents, Odon and Joan Corr of Mitchell, and Lowell Waters of Wessington; his birth mom and brothers, Hillary, Sawyer, and Huxley of Watertown; furry friend, Winston; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.
He is preceded in death by his cousins, Owen and Megan; and great-grandparents, Melvin, Margaret, Ceil, Al, JoAnn, Betty, and Carolyn.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Ollie’s arrangements.
