The National Collection for Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts is Nov. 12-18. The local drop-off site for shoebox gifts is Living Hope Alliance Church, 1779 Frank Ave. S.E.
Last year, 1,311 shoebox gifts were collected in Huron for distribution to children in disadvantaged areas of the world.
