WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Pamela Mary Reindl Meyer, 62, of Wessington Springs, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, at the Prairie View Care Center in Woonsocket from ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Crow Lake. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church with a scripture service at 7 p.m.
Pam was born January 3, 1955, to Everett and Marie (Grohs) Reindl. She attended country school through the eighth grade and transferred to Wessington Spring High School to complete her education. She married in 1975. To this union four sons were born, Jeremy, Justin, Brice and Trent.
Her greatest joy in life was raising her four sons. The most significant employment Pam engaged in was her role in the recovery of Wessington Springs following the 2014 tornado. She was a master quilter. The creative joy that quilting brought to Pam sustained her through many difficult times.
She is survived by her mother; siblings, Darwin, Roger, Les, and  Bruce Reindl, and sister, Sheila Hodgson; sons, Jeremy (Danielle), Justin (Kari), Brice (Sarah), and Trent Meyer; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a multitude of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Reindl and father Everett Reindl.
