HURON — Pamilla Cooper, 69, of Huron, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
There will be a private family service held at a later date.
Pamilla was born August 23, 1950, at Clark, to Kenneth and Mayme (Hurlburt) Cooper. She was raised in the Clark area, later attending college and becoming a school teacher. She taught school for several years in western South Dakota, including Eagle Butte and Red Scaffold.
After retiring from teaching, she moved to Huron to be closer to family. While living in Huron, she began working as a proofreader for the Huron Daily Plainsman, retiring for a second time a few months ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Jody (Matt) Ruedebusch of Huron; grandchildren, Cody Bastian, Tyler Keimig, and William Briley; and step-grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, and Cody Ruedebusch.
Arrangements are under the care of the Kuhler Funeral Home.
