HURON — More than 250 guests attended the 19th annual “A Night with Papa Luigi,” raising nearly $40,000 for Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation, according to Paul Rann, executive director of the HRMC Foundation.
Papa Luigi hosted a “Presidential Gala” on Saturday, March 3, at the Huron Event Center. Guests and local “celebrity” hosts dressed in a wide variety of formal attire, including several presidents and family members and, of course, White House security.
“Once again, members of the community showed their commitment to ensuring a healthy place to live, work and play,” said Rann. “Thank you so much to all of our sponsors and attendees! With their support we are working to ensure Huron is healthy.”

Funds raised through sponsorships, dinner tickets, tips, the auction and other activities support multiple HRMC Foundation endeavours, including nursing education and free health screenings.
“It was a great evening and I so appreciate the help of all of our volunteers and the planning committee,” said Rann. “Follow Huron Regional Medical Center on Facebook to view pictures from the event.”
The purpose of the HRMC Foundation is to raise gift income each year, which is used to support and endow the maintenance and enhancement of healthcare services on behalf of HRMC. Papa Luigi is one of two major fundraising events that benefit the Foundation – and, ultimately, health care in the area.
