MADISON — The Parker Pheasants have had great success in their first year in Class “A” volleyball and are headed to the State Tournament after a 26-24, 25-7 and 25-16 win over the Redfield-Doland Pheasants.
Parker finished in third at last year’s Class “B” state Tournament, losing only to state champion Northwestern in the tourney. They avenged that loss earlier this season, as the only blemish on Northwestern’s record this year.
On Tuesday, Hannah Viet had 19 kills, while Logan Gusso added eight kills to lead Parker to the State “A.” Hannah Even had 31 assists in the game.
For Redfield-Doland’s Pheasants, Rylie Gall had 10 kills, 14 digs and two blocks, while Autumn Turck contributed five kills and seven digs and Olivia Shantz had seven kills.
