Since 1987, the South Dakota Community Foundation has helped people reach their philanthropic goals and strengthened communities across the state.
The SDCF administers approximately $300 million in total assets for over 850 funds. By commingling endowed assets, the SDCF gives its partners enhanced investment opportunities that provide long-term support to charitable causes. In 2016, the SDCF distributed more than $13 million in grants.

This year marks the 28th year of giving from the Christen Hohm Lusk Greater Huron Area Foundation. A total of $72,504 was distributed through the Christen Hohm Lusk Greater Huron Area Foundation to benefit 19 non-profit organizations.
