REDFIELD — Pauletta Mae (Rowan) Canfield, 69, of Redfield, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned.
Pauletta Mae Rowan was born March 27, 1949, in Texarkana, Texas to Silven and Alice (Crane) Rowan. She grew up in the Dallas area working a variety of jobs.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. In 2008, she became a great- grandmother with seven more great-grandchildren to follow. In 2016, she followed her grandchildren to live in South Dakota. Due to health concerns, she lived at the Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Redfield.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Stevie, Sarah and Shawn Hardin; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her only son.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Tom and Dawn Hixon for their continued support and help.
