HURON — The Beadle County Humane Society is hosting a Paws for a Caws Walk spay/neuter fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, beginning at the east picnic shelter next to Putters and Scoops.

This event is for everyone whether you have a dog to walk or not. Some of the shelter dogs available for adoption will be participating, so there will be an on-site meet and greet! 100% of the proceeds go to the shelter’s Spay/Neuter program.

The cost is $10 per family, dogs are optional.

There will be food available, along with a vendor fair and bouncy house for the kids.

Vendors are invited to participate for a small donation. They can use a table under the shelter or bring their own table to set up.

There are also sponsorship opportunities available: $100 Bronze Paws package, $250 Silver Paws package and $500 Gold Paws package. All of the funds go to the spay/neuter program and includes name mentioned at the event and promotion on the BCHS Facebook page.
