HURON — Get ready for an evening of recognition, appreciation and high energy entertainment with the Peterson Brothers featured at the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau Ag Committee’s annual Ag Appreciation Banquet.
This year’s event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Huron Event Center, with a social, followed by a buffet dinner at 6:30.
The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (26), Nathan (23), Kendal (20), and honorary “bro” Laura (16) Peterson. They are siblings who farm together with their parents near Assaria, Kan.
For those not familiar with the Peterson Brothers, they are well known for making viral farming related videos on YouTube. Their YouTube channel name is “Peterson Farm Bros,” where viewers will find videos ranging from the brothers talking about a flat tire on their equipment, to “Farmer Style,” their parody of the hit song “Gangnam Style.”

Their mission is to inform everyone more about what goes on at their farm which is centered around faith, family and of course, farming.
Tickets to the event are $15 each for the general public.
Farmers and ranchers pay only $3 per ticket, which goes to provide scholarships given each year to graduating area high school students.
The Peterson Brothers are generously sponsored by Lud Hohm and Farm Credit Services of America.
Many other businesses also sponsor the meal in order to make the evening very affordable for the farmers and ranchers.
A limited number of banquet tickets are available at the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau.
To receive tickets by mail, please send name, address and phone number of each attendee along with a check to Huron CVB, 1725 Dakota Avenue South, Huron, SD 57350. For more information call 352-0000.
