HURON — Tickets are available - but limited - for the eighth Annual Pickin’ & Pluckin’ Bluegrass Jamboree, set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Prairie Ballroom at the Huron Event Center.
The James River Bluegrass Band - Steve Besch, Todd Goehring, Denny Mahowald and Mark Rounds - will open the show, then “The Hunting Band,” will take the stage.
The Hunting Band is made up of a ‘who’s-who’ of bluegrass music, including Barry Bales, Leigh Gibson, Jim Mills and Keith Williams, who among them have a trophy case full of music awards.
This year’s special guest is 15-time Grammy Award Winner, and CMA Entertainer of the Year Ricky Skaggs. Skaggs has a dozen No. 1 hits in Country and Bluegrass music.
