HURON — A “potentially very dangerous” situation was resolved Wednesday afternoon, after Huron Police Department and Beadle County Sheriff’s officers closed the 600 block of Idaho Avenue.
According to a release from HPD’s Casey Spinsby, officers responded to a residence at 645 Idaho, for a follow up to a domestic dispute the previous evening.
After arriving at the scene, the officers “determined that the situation was potentially very dangerous,” and the Special Response Team was called to the scene.
The release said that with the assistance of the sheriff’s office and the S.D. Highway Patrol, the incident was resolved and that more information would be made available today.
