Post 7 collects victory against Watertown

HURON — Behind a solid effort by Parker Hook on the mound, Huron Post 7 recorded a 12-5 victory against Watertown Post 17 on Tuesday at Memorial Park Stadium.
DeJean pitched the first eight innings for Post 7, allowing five runs on five hits with four strikeouts and six walks. Deion Waddle pitched  a score-less ninth inning to earn the save.

DeJean helped himself at the plate with three of the 14 hits in the game for Huron.
Walker Schiltz also tallied three hits for Post 7, while Chipper Shillingstad and Ricky Strubel each had two hits.
Every player in the lineup for Huron had at least one hit.
Post 7 returns to action Thursday, when it hosts Brookings at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
