The Barrel Bash on the State Fairgrounds kicked off Friday evening in the Beef Complex. On Friday afternoon, competitors were preparing for the competition. Above, Delaina Sievers walks her horses “A Smashing Good Time,” and “Im’a Be Famous,” to their stalls after registration, while below, Shari Taggert helps “Bucky” become familiar with the interior of the Beef Complex.
Competition resumes this morning, with the Senior Youth races at 11 a.m., followed by the Open races at noon. Sunday morning at 9 a.m. the Senior Youth race will start followed by the Open races at 10 a.m.
