The SD BBQ Championships takes place the first weekend of June, and proceeds from the event go to the S.D. State Fair Foundation. The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau and S.D. BBQ Championships recently presented a check to the S.D. State Fair Foundation for $5,032.37 from the 2021 competition.
