RACA opens 2021-2022 membership drive

REDFIELD — The Redfield Area Concert Association has returned and looks forward to an exciting, though abbreviated, concert year.

The RACA will host only two performances due to an abundance of caution over the COVID-19 pandemic at the time of the season’s planning.

In February 2022, Duo Baldo from Italy will be entertaining us with violin, piano and comedy.

Coming in May of 2022, Veritas, an outstanding contemporary male vocal quintet will capture our hearts and our ears with a repertoire of Broadway, pop, classical favorites, patriotic standards, and classic hymns.

Letters will be sent to past patrons and season membership holders the week of July 20.

In the letter patrons will find a flier with information about the concerts being held in Redfield, as well as the schedule of concerts in Gettysburg, Huron and Pierre.

Please note that on the flier there is a season ticket order form section for you to fill out and return with payment to Mary Ellen Rische, RACA Membership.

Your tickets will then be sent out to you by mail.

We are pleased to also announce that the Redfield Area Concert Association has a new host for our concerts. All performances will be held in the auditorium of the Redfield Public School, 111 East 6th Avenue. Please use the school’s North entrance on 5th Avenue for easy access to the auditorium.

Admission to every performance is with a Season Membership in the Redfield Area Concert Association.

But this is just the beginning of the benefits one can enjoy with a membership in the Redfield Area Concert Association.

A member of the Redfield Area Concert Association may also attend  performances in Huron, Pierre, and Gettysburg due to a reciprocal agreement between all four concert associations.

As a current RACA member, you are required to  simply show your ticket at the door and you are allowed admittance to these performances.

The dates, times and locations are listed on the flier in the letter you will be receiving. Concerts in Huron and Pierre are scheduled in September, so don’t delay in getting your tickets and miss the great concerts that will be presented.

This year again the board sincerely thanks the individuals and businesses that continue to support the Redfield Area Concert Association and its goal to bring quality entertainment to our community members.
