WESSINGTON SPRINGS­ — ­­Randy L. Doty, 60, of Wessington Springs passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Prairie View Care Center in Woonsocket.  
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday October 22, at the Foothills Bible Fellowship Church in Wessington Springs. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wessington Springs Masonic Lodge with a Masonic Service at 4 p.m.
Randy was born May 18, 1958, in Emmetsburg, Iowa to John and Shirley (Krug) Doty. He graduated from Pella High School in Iowa. He later moved to Wessington Springs to help his parents with the grain elevator.
He met the love of his life, Barb on Halloween in 1985. He drove truck for 26 years, opened LongTail Pheasant Farm and started a septic business. He was a member of the Wessington Springs Frontier Lodge, Yeldez Temple of Aberdeen, and Pheasants Forever of Wessington Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughters, Amanda Goglin (Scott Miller), Abby (Nathaniel) Kreber, and Ashley Doty; two grandsons; siblings, Robert (Jan) Doty, Steve (Rhonda) Doty, Dana (Cindy) Doty, and Linda Bruce; plus numerous family, friends and his old dog, Wally.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Gene Doty.
