Redfield Energy celebrates 10 years of ethanol production

REDFIELD — Redfield Energy LLC is hosting its 10-year anniversary celebration, coming up today, June 8.
The event will take place on site at the plant’s location two miles north of Redfield. Representatives from Redfield will be available for interviews upon request.
Ten years ago after two years of planning, fundraising, construction and training, we were able to bring the plant online and begin producing ethanol and our coproducts,” said Dana Siefkes-Lewis, chief administrative officer at Redfield Energy LLC.

“We’re proud to be a member of the Redfield community and we look forward to sharing our progress over the past 10 years with those who join us in celebrating this milestone at the plant on Thursday.”
Redfield Energy’s anniversary celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a breakfast social, which will include a meet and greet with Redfield’s board, employees, members and more.
The invited speakers will share their remarks at 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch around noon and entertainment provided by comedian Spencer Dobson at 12:30 p.m. The celebration will conclude around 1:30 p.m. with a toast to Redfield Energy’s next 10 years.
Redfield Energy is a member of the American Coalition for Ethanol, Growth Energy and the Renewable Fuels Association. Leadership from all three organizations will be speaking at the event, including Brian Jennings with ACE, Emily Skor with Growth Energy and Bob Dinneen with RFA.
Redfield Energy executives will also be speaking at the event.  
Since the plant’s inception in 2005, Redfield Energy has generated a net income of $43.5 million. By purchasing over 194 million bushels of corn at an average price of $4.47 since April 26, 2007, the company has provided another market for local farmers’ corn and offers a high-quality distillers grains feed.
