VOLGA — The Redfield boys’ golf team finished sixth in the Sioux Valley Invitational, which was held Monday.
Sioux Valley used a 357 to win a three-way battle for the top spot. Aberdeen Roncalli was second at 358, followed by Dell Rapids at 359.
Rounding out the top five in the 9-team event were Sisseton at 366 and Groton at 380. Redfield finished at 397 and was followed by Brookings junior varsity at 416, Flandreau at 417 and Milbank at 448.

Cade Guthmiller of Groton was the medalist with an 80, while Blake Nielsen of Sisseton was second with an 81.
Nate Buisker of Sioux Valley had an 83, while Tiospa Zina teammates Johnny German and Caleb Barse each had scores of 84.
Dylan Stephens led Redfield with an 86 to finish eighth overall.
Jaxson Frankenstein had a 100 for the Pheasants, while Mitchell Mack and Jaxson Campbell finished at 124 and 130, respectively, and Henry Weller had a 165.
