HURON — A pair of area girls’ basketball teams will participate in the Class A SoDak 16, which is scheduled for Thursday at various sites throughout the state.
Redfield holds the No. 13 seed and will face fourth-seeded Aberdeen Roncalli at 7 p.m., in Ipswich, while Miller is the No. 16 seed and will face top-seeded St. Thomas More at 5:30 p.m. MT in Wall.
In the other Class A SoDak 16 matchups, second-seeded Winner plays No. 15 Tri-Valley at 6:30 p.m., in Wagner; third-seeded Hamlin plays No. 14 Mobridge-Pollock at 5:30 p.m., in Watertown; fifth-seeded Sioux Falls Christian plays No. 12 Flandreau at 7:45 p.m., in Harrisburg; sixth-seeded Belle Fourche plays No. 11 Parkston at 4:30 p.m. MT in Kadoka; seventh-seeded Hill City plays No. 10 McCook Central/Montrose at 6:15 p.m. MT in Kadoka; and eighth-seeded Dakota Valley plays No. 9 Tea Area at 6 p.m., in Harrisburg.
Winners from the SoDak 16 will advance to the Class A State Tournament, which is scheduled for March 11-13 in Watertown.
