REDFIELD — Reinhold “Reinie” Dutt, 97, of Redfield, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Eastern Star Home.
His Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Monday November 12, at the Eastern Star Chapel in Redfield. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation with family present, will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Eastern Star Chapel.
Reinhold Dutt was born July 7, 1921, in Tolstoy to Jacob and Frederika (Huber) Dutt. He attended school in Tolstoy and then worked on the family farm.
He was united in marriage to Mildred Hettich June 18, 1944. In 1956, they moved to Anaconda, Mont. where he worked for the Anaconda Copper Mine. In 1961, they moved to Hoven and in 1962, they moved to Redfield where he worked for Peavey Lumber Company until retiring in 1983.
He is survived by his children, Jake (Sheila) Dutt of Aberdeen, Barb Lenling of Redfield; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife; siblings, Jacob, John, Edward, Frederika Krien, Martha Lassle, Eileen Dutt, three infant siblings; and son-in-law, Larry Lenling.
