HURON — Huron Mayor Paul Aylward reminded the public Monday that the special election on the rezoning of 10 acres in the Southtown Addition to accommodate the WheatGrass apartment and town home project is next Tuesday.
The polls will be open at the Huron Arena from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
People may also vote by absentee ballot now between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays at City Hall.
They may also request that a ballot be sent to them in the mail. They must be returned by 3 p.m. May 16.
