HURON — Rev. Mahn Aung Sein, 91, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020. at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Su Knya Baptist Church in Huron with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation with his family present will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday and through the night until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
Mahn Aung Sein was born in Burma on Jan. 1, 1929, to parents Mahn Tu and Bone Lone.
Mahn attened Poe Karen Bible School in Burma and was a minister for many years. He married Nant Bwa. He enjoyed gardening, farming and reading the bible. Spending time with his family was important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Nant Bwa; children, Saw Sein Than, Daniel Manh Aung, Maung Tin Myint, Kyaw Kyaw Aung, Rose Mary, Nant Dolly, and Saw Maw Htwe; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
