ABERDEEN — Rex Lloyd Lanz, 76, of Aberdeen, formerly of Miller, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at Reck Funeral Home in Miller with Rev. Brian Jones, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rex Lloyd Lanz was born November 3, 1943, in Miller, to Arthur Chris and Iona Elaine (Stubsten) Lanz.
He was an Air Force Veteran who enlisted in December 1964 and served in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He earned the Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Rex married Linh My Trieu.
Rex is survived by his wife, Linh My (Trieu) Lanz; his step-daughters, Minh_Ngoc Thi Nguyen and Minh_Dung Thi Nguyen; uncle, Eugene Stubsten; aunt, Helen Willis; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-father, Russell Roth.
