DOLAND — Richard “Bud” Armond LaBrie, 87, of Doland, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Sanford Hospital in Aberdeen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 20, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Turton. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery at Turton. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with a prayer service and rosary to follow at 7 p.m. with the family present beginning at 5 p.m.
Richard “Bud” Armond LaBrie was born October 29, 1929, in Turton to Joseph and Mary (Hansen) LaBrie. He was drafted into the army in 1952, and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
He was united in marriage to Doris June Henrichsen in 1960. The couple made their home on a farm near Turton.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Jodi (Noel) Gabriel of Whitewood, Julie (Kerwin) Hoellein of Mansfield, Rick (Debbie) LaBrie of Pierre, Kristi (Steve) Stein of Volga, Kathy (Dale) Taylor of Kimball, Terri (Donnie Coble) LaBrie of Sturgis, and Mike (Mollie) LaBrie of Turton; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lila Hansen of Turton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lois Dix.
