YANKTON — Ricky R. McRae, 60, of Yankton passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. Burial, with military honors, will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield. Visitations will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory in Yankton and from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield as well as one hour prior to the funeral service.
He was born in Dillon, South Carolina on Nov. 5, 1957 to Frank and Annie McRae.
He is survived by his love of 19 years, Karla Kohrs; children, Mike, Fatima, Rickie, Rynaldo, Chris, Roderick and AnnaMarie; seven grandchildren; sister, Veda McRae and brothers, Keith and Gordon McRae.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Melissa.
In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully asking for monetary donations to help defray funeral costs.
