CAVOUR — Robert R. Ingle, 89, of Cavour, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
His memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, with military honors by the Huron Veterans Council. Visitation is 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Kuhler Funeral Home. The family will be present 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Robert R. Ingle was born October 3, 1929, in Mitchell, to Amoy J. and Laura May (Rhoads) Ingle. He graduated from Huron High School in 1947, and earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Huron College in 1951. He was united in marriage to Lois Mae Schneiderman April 18, 1951. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. He raised seed crops and owned Pearl View Seeds. He was active in International Flying Farmers, Huron Board of Education, S.D. Game, Fish and Parks, American Legion, and First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Scott (Sharon) Ingle of Cavour, and Beth (Jim) Mathias of Olathe, Kan.; grandson, Marc Mathias of Olathe Kan.; brother-in-law, Larry Graf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; and sister, Carol Joan Graf.
