GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Roger Allyn Anderson, 83, of Glastonbury, Conn., passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
He was born in Huron, to Harry and Ethel (Eastman) Anderson.
Roger graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1960. After graduation, he was based around the United States as well as on multiple destroyers. After leaving the Navy his employment allowed he and his family the opportunity to live in Paris, France and Brussels, Belgium and travel throughout Europe and Asia.
Roger was predeceased by his parents; brother, Norman; and sister, Gloria.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Catherine (Jeffrey) Barlow and Michele Anderson; and four grandchildren, Taylor and James Barlow, and Casey and Matthew Coletta. He is also survived by his brother, Dale (Carol); and his sister, Helen (Richard Phillips) who he maintained a special bond with throughout his life.
