GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Ronald N. Dubro, 86, of Grand Prairie, Texas and formerly of Esmond/Iroquois area, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the Pavilion Nursing Home at Mansfield.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, at Belle Prairie Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Iroquois with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Ronald Norman Dubro was born June 27, 1932, near Harold to Paul and Anna (Lorenz) Dubro. He graduated from Iroquois High School. During the Korean Conflict, he was drafted but unable to serve due to asthma. He decided to join the S.D. Wing, Civil Air Patrol. He was recruited and trained as an aeronautical engineer and worked for Boeing Aircraft. He was united in marriage to Lois Darlene Carpenter in 1959.
He is survived by his wife; children, Tonya (Richard Webb) Dubro of Richardson, Texas, Beth Dubro of Greensburg, Kan., and Paul Dubro of Alvarado, Texas; grandson, Byron Webb of Richardson, Texas; brother, Norman (Mary) Dubro of Delta, Utah; sister-in-law, Margery Dubro of Huron; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred (James) Erickson, Marion Dubro, and Marvin (Charlene) Dubro.
