SHAKOPEE, Minn. — Rosemary (Legel) Hildman, 90, of Shakopee, Minn., formerly of Huron, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, at St. Mary of the Purification, 15810 Marystown Rd., Shakopee, Minn. Rose will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery at St. Paul, Minn. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 11, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Shakopee, Minn., or one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rose was born October 4, 1928, in St. Paul, Minn. She married Lee Hildman August 25, 1954. A former member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Huron, Rose had a true servant’s heart. She was dedicated to her church, family, and community. Rose was a friend to many, she couldn’t go anywhere without seeing someone she knew. As Rose always said, “we had the nicest visit!”
A kindhearted woman, Rose is loved and missed by children, Mark Hildman, Jeri Hildman, Tami (Jess) Haeg, and Lori Kalahar; grandchildren, Logan Kalahar, Madison Haeg, and Nicholas Haeg; brother-in-law, James (Mary Ann) Hildman; sister-in-law, Martha Legel; and nieces, nephews and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; son-in-law, Tim Kalahar; brother, Clarence “Joe” Legel; sister, Dorothy (Francis) Martin; and nephews, Jim Martin, and Pat Martin.
