Huron’s Kenedee Rowen won the 132-pound title during the Salem Slammer High School Powerlifting Invitational, which was held Jan. 14.
Rowen had a winning total of 795 pounds, which was the highest total of any of the 84 female lifters at the event.
Using a squat of 300, a bench of 165 and a deadlift of 330, Rowen finished 235 pounds in front of Ella Swift of St. Mary’s, who was second in the 132-pound weight class.
Harlie Dixon of Sioux Falls Roosevelt was third at 510.
