LENNOX — Ruth Palmer, 92, of Lennox and formerly of Huron, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Center in Lennox.
At her request cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Ruth was born March 11, 1925, in Clark. Ruth graduated from Huron Public Schools and was united in marriage to Elwood N. Palmer on March 3, 1945.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Sandra) Palmer of Richmond, Texas; and daughter, Dedra Shaffer of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren;, three great-grandchildren;, and a number of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kenneth Christensen.
