Sanborn Central-Woonsocket girls finish fourth in Chester

CHESTER — The Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks track and field teams had solid outings Tuesday, at the Chester Booster Invitational.
The Blackhawk girls earned 72 points to finish fourth in the team race.
Colman-Egan won the girls’ title with 149 points, followed by Chester Area’s 114.5 and Parker, who scored 106.
SC-W’s boys’ team finished in seventh place in the standings, with 52 points. Tri-Valley won the boys’ race with 121 points, narrowly edging Chester Area, which ended with 103. Dell Rapids St. Mary’s was third with 81.
