HURON — The Fair City Sertoma Club will hosts its annual fundraiser on Tuesday, April 24, at the Plains.
This year’s event is themed “Craze for a Cause,” and will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner. The Service to Mankind and Sertoman of the Year Awards will be presented at the fundraiser as well.
Huron auctioneer Ben Meyer will preside over both the a live auction, as well as a lively “Dollar Craze” auction throughout the evening. The “Dollar Craze” is a hybrid raffle/auction with a dash of luck added just for the fun of it. Among the numerous donated items to be auctioned will be a rum cake and three fruit pies from the Tailgate Restaurant, made and donated by owner Scott Gaulke.
For tickets to “Craze for a Cause,” contact any Sertoma member or call Deannie LeRoux at 352-3068.
