Seventh graders go 1-2 against Watertown

WATERTOWN — Watertown won two of three matches against the Huron seventh-grade volleyball team on Thursday.

The Arrows used set scores of 25-7 and 25-20 to win the A-match.

Autumn Siedschlag had two aces on 3 of 4 serving for the Tigers. Ramsey Rozell was perfect on seven serves with an ace, while Arian Pfitzer was 3 of 5 with an ace.

Jayla Schley was 2 of 3 serving, while Lana Sharry converted on 1 of 4 serves.

Watertown recorded set wins of 25-16 and 25-21 to claim the B-match.

Cora Wilk went 10 of 10 serving with an ace for Huron. Jesse Mattke was 4 of 6 with an ace, while Talley Hins was 3 of 6 with an ace.

Taylor Sorben converted on 7 of 8 serves for the Tigers and Eh Khu Shee was 3 of 3.

The lone win for Huron came in the C-match using set scores of 26-24, 13-25 and 15-10.

Laney Marshall was 9 of 11 serving with five aces for the Tigers, while Hannah Paw was 5 of 11 with five aces. Neveah Garcie was 10 of 11 serving with three aces and Hser Htoo had three aces on 7 of 11 serving.

Huron will travel to play Mitchell on Tuesday.
