HURON — Sharon Morales, 74, of Huron, passed away in her sleep, Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Firesteel Healthcare Community in Mitchell, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, November 4, at the Huron Church of the Open Bible located at 855 Utah Street S.E. Potluck to follow.
Sharon was born March 2, 1944, in Huron to Wilbur and Evelyn Schnabel. She grew up in Huron until moving to California where she met the love of her life, Henry J. Morales I. They raised three children together, and she remained by his side until his passing in 1993.
She is survived by her children, Lance Morales (Gloria) of Mitchell, Henry J. Morales II (Rachel) of Huron, and Heather (Martin) Quinn of Huron; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Shelia, Ronald, Richard, Roger, Micheal, Tara, and Marla.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; and her husband, Henry J Morales I of Rodeo, Calif.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and they will take with them her strength.
