HARRISBURG, Ore. — Shawn Denise Searls, age 60, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 following a warrior’s fight with multiple health challenges.
Shawn was born  April 5, 1960, in Miller, to Leroy and Donna Campbell. She attended grade school and high school in Hand County. Shawn completed floral design school in Denver, Colo., following high school.
She met Jerry Waldner while working at Seibrecht’s Florist in Aberdeen. They were married in 1985 and moved to Portland, Ore. They divorced in 2002. Shawn worked for many years in the insurance industry and was known for excellence in all she did.
Shawn married Leonard Searls Feb. 22, 2004. They loved camping and fishing together, watching family sporting events, adventures with their grandsons and an annual trip to South Dakota to visit extended family and friends. She was a friend to all and in every family celebration or crisis Shawn was first on the scene ready to lend a hand.
She was a gifted florist and many family members and friends were recipients of her beautiful floral arrangements. She was a crafter, jewelry designer and crocheted beautiful afghans for many family members.
Shawn is survived by loving husband Lenny Searls, her sisters Sherry Fanning (Jeff), Sharlene Skinner (Lee), brother Gerald Campbell (Becky), brother-in-law Ben Rediger and sister-in-law Heidi Bailey, along with  brothers-in-laws Steve, Doug, and Terry Searls and one sister-in law, Julie Foster,  as well as six stepchildren, her beloved grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Delvin and George Campbell, and sister Sheila Rediger.
