Special services at Restoration Church this weekend

HURON — Dr. David Nichols, founder of Heart of the Father Ministries, will be ministering at Restoration Church, 920 Lincoln Ave. S.W., at 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Nichols has been a pastor, preacher and educator for more than 35 years.
He holds a Ph.D. in New Testament studies from Marquette University and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He has been a professor and administrator in Christian higher education for 15 years.
In 1997, Nichols had a profound experience in the presence of the Lord in his car while driving in North Dakota. The Lord asked a disturbing question, “Are you a Pharisee?” The answer to that question has led Nichols to experience personal revival.
He has traveled extensively in ministry across the U.S. and has also ministered in Argentina, Peru, Ukraine, India, Korea, Africa and Belgium. The scope of the international ministry has ranged from pastors’ schools to seminary courses, open-air crusades and conferences as well as preaching in churches.
The central passion of his ministry is revival and renewal. Nichols brings a prophetic message that calls people to the altar for an encounter with the loving God.
