WHITE — Ryan Stahl and Olivia Rink both finished third for the James Valley Christian golf teams at the Deubrook Invite on Friday.
Stahl shot a 40 in the 9-hole event to finish third in the final boys’ standings.
Sam Hanson of Great Plains Lutheran won the boys’ title with a 37, while Tanner Preheim of Deuel used a scorecard playoff to claim the second spot with a 40. Brodey Crooks of Deubrook was fourth at 41, followed by Noah Hansen of GPL at 42.
Jevin Goertz was ninth for JVC at 44, while Ethan Bartholow was 11th at 45.
Great Plains Lutheran won the boys’ team title with 122. Deubrook was second at 128, followed by James Valley Christian at 129.
Rink shot a 44 and used a scorecard playoff to claim the third spot in the girls’ standings.
Hannah Karst of Castlewood was the medalist with a 41, while Bailey Landmark of Deubrooke was second at 43.
Allison Andrews of Deubrook was fourth at 44 and Kaylee Johnson of Estelline/Hendricks was fifth at 45.
Deubrook claimed the girls’ title with a 133, while Castlewood was second at 148, just one point ahead of Estelline/Hendricks.
James Valley Christian will be at the De Smet Invite on Tuesday.
