FRANKFORT — Stephen “Steve” Lorraine Robinson, 85, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 29, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield. Interment, with military honors, will be in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Frankfort. Visitation with family present, will be 5 to 7 p.m Friday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield with a Prayer Service and Rosary at 7 p.m.
Stephen “Steve” Lorraine Robinson was born December 24, 1932, in Frankfort to Lorraine and Mayme “Mary” (Eimers) Robinson. He attended Frankfort School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Clairice Fortin June 15, 1955. He was a rural Frankfort mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years, and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Clairice; sons, Bob Robinson of Frankfort, and Roger Robinson of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren; siblings, Lucille Liebieg, Beatrice Hixon, Josephine Harris, Florence Hinker, Denise Taylor, Sharon Osborn, Sylvester, and Lawrence; and many nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by many brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
