RAPID CITY — Steven C. Wallum, 64, of Rapid City, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at his home in Rapid City.
Funeral Service will be 3 p.m., Friday, October 19, at the American Lutheran Church in De Smet.  Burial will be in the De Smet Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Steven C. (Jarv) Wallum was born August 9, 1954, at Huron to Jarvis and Evelyn Wallum. He graduated from De Smet High School in 1972, and graduated from the National College of Business in Rapid City. He was united in marriage to Linda Gillam. He moved to Casper, Wyo. and was employed as a Sales and Finance Director for Greiner Ford. He opened a car lot called Jarv’s Auto Truck & Whatever. Later, he went to work in the oil and wind energy business. He currently resided in Rapid City.
He is survived by his son, Jarvis (Maegen) Dean; four grandchildren; brother, Greg (Chris) Wallum of Rapid City; sister, Betty (Andy) Vincent of Lake Preston; sister in-law, Rhonda Wallum of, De Smet; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeffrey; and his stepfather, Harold Platt.
