HURON — This season, Blackhawks basketball and volleyball fans can catch a brand new commercial for Auto Body Clinic of Huron, produced by the Woonsocket multimedia class.
Armondo Rodriguez and Charley Larson teach the multimedia class. The class is for grades 10-12 and covers Photoshop, video editing, broadcasting, and photography.
According to Rodriguez, “The students worked 6-7 hours on the Auto Body Clinic commercial, from start to finish. It will play during timeouts of all home basketball and volleyball games.”
The students visited Auto Body Clinic to film the video and incorporated the businesses familiar jingle into the finished commercial.
Funds raised from the sale of these advertisements will be used to help purchase new software and equipment for the multimedia class. Any businesses that would like the Woonsocket multimedia students to create a commercial for them can reach Mr. Rodriguez at benito.rodriguez@k12.sd.us.
You can check out the work of these talented students at the Auto Body Clinic Facebook page.
