Students earn degrees at Huron Community Campus

HURON — A total of 29 teachers from throughout eastern South Dakota, earned their Masters degrees in Teaching and Learning at the Huron Community Campus.

While each received his or her actual degree at ceremonies held at the Northern State University campus earlier, a separate gathering and event took place at the HCC Thursday night.

Earning recognition and listed in alphabetical order are: Cheri Compton, Lexi Eckmann, Teresa Yost, Rylie Eisenbeisz, Lisa Foreman, Mariah Block Geier, Benjamin Halbkat, Laura Haug, Leah Hofer, Jarret Janke, Kyle Johnson, Paula Johnson, Carley Krueger Shockman, Amanda Blank Ladwig, Travis Ladwig, Tara Liesinger, Abby Masat, Dylan Mickelson, Julie Milbrandt, Shelly Osthus, Alexandra Schuring, Alexandra Alspach Schilder, Christian Small, Kelsey Poppen Small, Mellissa Smith, Nicole Troxell, Calli Vearrier, Chad White and Amber Williamson.

They represent school districts in Aberdeen, Bowdle, Faulkton, Garretson, Groton, Huron, Madison, Tea, Watertown and Wolsey-Wessington.
