Music and food were enjoyed by many at Campbell Park on Thursday evening as part of the Family Night at the Park summer activities program. The “Lightning Creek Band,” a guitar duo from Rapid City, entertained the crowd with a collection of originals and cover songs, while the Huron Municipal Band closed the stage. A variety of food dishes are being hosted by Connecting Cultures each week. The Huron Farmers’ Market will have a booth open as well as the Girl Scouts.
Next week, children’s musician Phil Baker will take the stage at 7 p.m., Thursday at the band shell.
