Support youth on Giving Tuesday

COURTESY PHOTO Iroquois Teen Teachers share a learning activity with elementary students. The children really enjoyed the experiments that were performed.

Teens As Teachers, a program of the South Dakota Youth Foundation, Inc. (SDYF) is asking for your support of area youth on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29.

This South Dakota Day of Giving highlights the work of nonprofit organizations such as the South Dakota Youth Foundation.

The Teens As Teachers program provides leadership development and an opportunity to earn a scholarship for the teens who volunteer.

For Giving Tuesday, any scholarship donated will be matched dollar for dollar. Donating one scholarship multiplies to two.

As a participant of Giving Tuesday, SDYF would like to extend an opportunity to you to support area youth who have become part of Teens As Teachers: Kalli Burma, Lexi Burma and Lily Blue, all of Iroquois.

These high school students will teach elementary students CHARACTER COUNTS! and Healthy YOUth curriculum.

A $500 scholarship provides training, materials and a scholarship for the Teen Teacher for use in post-secondary training.

Your Giving Tuesday donation can be sent to South Dakota Youth Foundation, Inc, 1310 Main Ave. S., Brookings, S.D. 57006 or donate online at Donate — South Dakota Youth Foundation, Inc., at
