BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Susan Marie Kludt, 68, of Bloomington, Minn., passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, at her home as the result of an accident.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Susan’s Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at Welter Funeral Home with inurnment in Restlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum to follow. Memorial visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the servic
Susan was born August 30, 1949, in Huron to Calvin “Cal” and Doris (Rieck) Kludt. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Alpena High School in 1967. She attended Nettleton Business College in Omaha in 1968. She moved to the Twin Cities area in 1968, where she made her home until her death.
She spent her career in the computer tech support field and retired from Accenture in 2016.
She shared her life throughout the years with her beloved cats that she called “her kids.” She loved the Hawaiian Islands-making frequent trips to Kauai. She had a deep passion for nature, the environment and wildlife.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Dale) Kogel, Janene (Cliff) Jager, and Joan (Ron) Russell; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cal and Doris.
