HURON — Ted Peterman, 98, of Huron, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the Prairie View Care Center at Woonsocket.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Military rites will be conducted by the Huron Veterans Council.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Ted Peterman was born October 14, 1921, to William E. and Dollie E. (Bowen) Peterman, at Kadoka.
On June 5, 1940, he was accepted in the US Army Band.
He married Lois. L Petersen February 18, 1949.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Peterman; two daughters, Candy (Dale) Guthmiller and Vickie (Dennis) Rans; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece; two great-nieces; and many family friends.
