ABERDEEN — The Mitchell Kernels easily won the ESD Conference tennis title Thursday, winning two singles titles and amassing 355 points. Brandon Valley was a distant second with 216 points and Aberdeen Central was third with 169, edging Yankton by five points.
The Huron Tigers finished in 7th place with 45 points on the day.
Huron was led on the day by Eh Kalu’s third place finish at the No. 6 singles, as he defeated Karter Lein of Harrisburg 8-5 in the third-place match.
