Tigers girls tennis splits two matches

ABERDEEN — The Huron girls’ tennis team went 1-1 during the Elliott Extravaganza on Saturday.

The Tigers won 8-1 against Rapid City Central and dropped a 9-0 decision against Rapid City Stevens.

“We were able to get a win against Rapid City Central and played well against Stevens,” Huron coach Rachel Kary said.

Huron will travel to compete in the Pierre Invitational at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday before closing the regular season with the Eastern South Dakota Conference Meet on Sept. 28 at Huron Courts.
